Remembering Anne...

I was devastated when I learned of Anne’s passing. No words can express the loss that those who knew her are feeling now.

I first met Anne several years ago at a Solution retreat in Atlanta, participated in her “Last Inch” workshop there, and then went on to one of her “Last Inch” telegroups. Through Anne’s beautiful guided meditations, I heard my nurturing inner voice (loud & clear!) and created a safe haven within myself that still remains. Anne also had a phenomenal gift of getting quickly to the meat of each person’s work. She always seemed to have the perfect word at the perfect time. So many “Aha,” life-changing moments!

I owe so much to Anne! Her loving wisdom, empathy, and nurturing spirit will remain as a beacon in my life and as an EVERY DAY reminder to do the best I can to focus on what’s REALLY important and to live with compassion, love and joy in the present moment. As Anne’s sudden, untimely death has shown, that present moment is the only one we are ever given in which to live a life fulfilled. Although she had so much ahead of her, so much left undone, she’s one of the best examples I know of someone who chose and lived a full, authentic life!

My heart goes out to Laurel, all of Anne’s Solution Colleagues, Solution members who knew her, and most especially to her husband Beau and son Julian. Her spirit will live on through you…
