Thank you, Anne

I do imagine that all who knew Anne were blessed by her life, her presence, her knowledge, her understanding, and her love and commitment to what was good and right. (I remember many years ago her passionate desire and work to protect a stand of trees in a suburb of Atlanta--trees that were in the path of a housing development. I don't remember what happened to those trees, but they surely had the best advocate available on the planet!)
But mostly I remember her voice, always loving and strong, encouraging, full of courage. It was a great gift to know you, Anne, a blessing unexpected in this life, one I will cherish forever, and seek to honor.
