After becoming comfortable with providing introductory training in the method to clients, become certified to facilitate four-session training – group or individual – with the Wired for Joy course.
The course “layers” the skills so that each participant receives a solid foundation in the system. It culminates with learning the skill of creating moments of joy and each week includes important tools in grinding in basic expectations that begin to change implicit memory.
This course is a prerequisite for all Solution Training and an important course for general prevention in the community for those who do not intend to continue with Solution Training.

You will receive a self-instructional course on the science behind the method (12-hour DVD of a UCSF course) and the clinical completion kit for the introductory core course: Wired for Joy including 12 CDs: 2 CDs that overview the training, 2 that review the tools and 8 that demonstrate actual clinical sessions, 1 Wired for Joy Journal and 1 Wired for Joy Provider Guide. The kit also includes the review and support of a session you tape of coaching a participant through The Cycle Tool. This course leads to certification to provide four-week introductory courses in the method based on the Wired for Joy Specialty Kit.
